Memorial Day Weekend Trip

For the Memorial Day weekend, We all took off the Friday before and made it a four day weekend. On Friday, we sailed to Blake Island and asked to raft up. We stayed put for three nights (very unusual for us). The kids loved playing ashore at will.

Molly’s dad is Jewish. Molly wants to preserve some of the Jewish traditions from her youth; Hanukkah is one of them. Tonight was the fourth night of Hanukkah. Molly grew up with a tradition of using clues to find a gift. Here the kids have the first clue for a challenging hunt.

In a continuing tradition, we had the Yang/Williams over for T-day. In a remarkable turn of events, I actually cooked a turkey! Moira and Fiona play with Camille while Daniel plays solitaire by himself as the adults converse.
