Poppa Ron’s 80th birthday bash and roast

They say that summer in Seattle starts on the day after July 4th. This year it was more true than ever. It rained on July 4th, then the very next day, the North Pacific High kicked in and summer arrived. From the high sixties to the low nineties in three days – whew!
Father’s Day 2010

We usually have a Father’s Day picnic. This year, the weather sucked! It was a steady light rain and the outdoor plans were squashed. So, Molly suggested a picnic on the Bremerton ferry with a short outing in Bremerton. It was a lovely idea. After being feted at breakfast, we trudged downtown.
