We took a few extra days to climb up into the mountains to San Sebastian del Oeste and Mascota.  We will not regret getting off the beaten path to see an unspoiled town in the mountains on the night of the Virgen de Guadalupe.  It was absolutely wonderful.

Molly wanted to escape Seattle for Thanksgiving.  She chose to take us to Anchorage Cottages (misnamed as this is a treacherous coast with no anchorages nearby) in Long Beach, WA. We went to Echo Bay on Sucia Island for two nights, and then Rosario Resort for our final night, where we snatched the last mooring buoy.  Finally, onto Anacortes, to switch with our boat partners Keith and Kathy.

My brother-in-law loves “big bugs”.  He traveled to SS Lobster in Fitchburg to get one 12-pounder and two 6-pounders.  They were massive!
