Poppa Ron came to visit us from SoCal.  He was gracious enough to take us out to a delicious Vietnamese restaurant in Belltown called Long Provincial.  It was excellent and not at all provincial (with a small ‘p’).
Camille also made him a special pillow with fabric his money purchased.

We went to the Circus of Dreams today.  At intermission, Poppa Ron bought Daniel some glow sticks.  He turned them into a ball which he rolled down a ramp.

We managed to drag our 15 year-old niece Kiara away from Southern California for a visit.  (a pre-paid plane ticket helped.)  Here is a brief pictorial summary of her visit.

Off we went on vacation with Nonna (my mom) and her husband Dave (aka ‘Grandpa Dave’).  We chartered a three cabin Bavaria 36 out of Anacortes.  It was difficult to fit all our stuff into the mini-van until Molly suggested removing a middle row seat.  Then, all was possible – barely.
