It was  rough night.  Camille and I tried to do her math homework as I cooked.  Camille was tired and was quickly overwhelmed.  Tears came and she was comforted by hanging out with Spirit.  Good Spirit!

I’m unsure of our mental status (specifically my own), but we adopted a two year old female (who’s likely to have had a litter, but has since been “fixed”) dog from the Seattle Animal Shelter.  She’s very energetic and her name is appropriately Spirit.  I love dogs, but I’m not sure I need one more [...]
