Tonight, Camille amazed us all with her “daring-do”. She performed in her final year at Whittier Elementary School. We’re so proud of her! She was offered the anchor spot in the program and stepped up to the plate to perform.

Snow!
January 12th, 2011 · No Comments
It snowed yet again today! This is a bit exceptional, as we can easily go a whole winter in Seattle (at sea level) with no snow. The kids played in it a bit before bedtime. It’s slated to turn to rain shortly, so better enjoy it while you can.

More house history discovered – digging up history in Ballard
August 30th, 2009 · No Comments

My current understanding is that the front part of this house stood on this lot in 1892 (it was shown on the Sanford Fire Insurance maps of that date), but likely was constructed on this lot in the previous decade. When remodeling the [...]
Camille throws a party (for no particular reason)
August 27th, 2009 · No Comments
Bored one day while stuck in my office for half a day, my active little girl Camille decided to create invitations to a party. The party had no reason or theme, other than to get her two closest friends over for a play date. Both Kasey and Lucy accepted. It was planned for a Thursday, [...]
