From Matia Island, we sailed all of three miles to the nearby larger and more popular Sucia Island. I wanted to sail on, but the crew was unhappy with the upwind bashing they were taking. So, I relented. We ended up in Fossil Bay, which was plenty windy, but protected from its large blasts from the north.
