It was Molly’s 11th Mother’s Day today – I count the year when Molly was pregnant with Camille and she is nine – so that’s nine years plus the one when Camille was a few months old and one where Molly was pregnant. As usual, we went to Discovery Park for a picnic by the chapel over looking Puget Sound. Yet again, the weather cooperated.
Reminiscent of our first visit to Discovery Park on Mother’s Day, Camille indulges in cheese.
I walked to the car to deposit the picnic stuff and came back to see Camille 30 feet off the ground. I shouldn’t be surprised, but I have acrophobia. Thus, I have a visceral response to being (especially) or even seeing someone so high off the ground without a net, mat, harness, etc.
I asked the kids if we should have brought passports. They didn’t get it.
Dan holds Camille's legs so she can dig deeply without falling in.
