Trip to Vancouver – Part 2

We had dinner here at Hapa Izakaya. It was a hip Japanese fusion restaurant. According to the menu, “Hapa” means ‘half’ and “Izakaya” is a type of Tokyo restaurant. The food was excellent, including the pork belly on steamed buns.

Tenth Anniversary Trip to Vancouver

Hike with Dan

Dan and I took a short hike in the Cascades to Talapus Lake. It was Thursday, a “Daddy day”. Dan asked some inquisitive questions on the way there and that led to a longer discussion about genetics and recessive and dominant traits. He’s such an inqusitive child.
