Spontaneously, after having read an article about it, I suggested we go to Snoqualmie Falls.  The kids said, “Yeah!” and wanted to bring friends.  So, at the last moment, we invited Devin and his daughters, Kasey and Tessa.  They were up for it.

The kids were disappointed that they couldn’t get into the fast moving river, so we went downstream to this very muddy boat launching ramp.  They were happy; the dads were not.

Kasey is perpetually on the prowl for things to catch, collect, and keep.
